My research told me that, the most important factor when installing a central air conditioning system is the installer. Well I certainly made a great choice. Harmon did a GREAT job. They helped me make the right decision on the best system at the best price. The installation was done on schedule and went smoothly. The entire crew was very professional. Clearly knowledgeable and took great pride in doing things right with great attention to detail. I will likely need to replace my heating system in the future and will definitely ask Harmon to do that installation also.

Bruce Harmon, the owner did a great job explaining our needs and gave us a choice of may different heaters. We chose a high efficiency heater and with Bruce's help will receive a substantial rebate for our electric company. Bruce and his staff arrived at the time and on the date scheduled and did a great job of installation. They left the work area cleaner then they found it and did all that was explained in the work order. When my AC needs replacement Harmon's will be the first I call. Over all I had a very positive experience with Bruce Harmon and his company.

I received five quotes and accidentally disclosed one to Bruce. No matter, his pricing was his pricing. He beat that quote by $2,000. In fact, he beat every quote by at least $1,300 and as much as $7,000 (one guy was clearly either not interested or thought he'd take a shot). Various options were presented and nothing was "pushed." There was no high pressure sales pitch and the guy that was installing the system, and owner of the company, was the one doing the estimates so there was no "salesman's commission" or chance that the estimate was not going to be the final price, which it was without discussion. On the day of installation, they arrived on time (actually early) and took about two hours longer than I had guessed. (Not an issue, I just tried to guess how many hours of installation were included.) Both Bruce and his employee were extremely professional and you could tell that they took great pride in how well the system looked and performed. (It's a furnace/air conditioner/humidifier/air cleaner that's stuck off in a utility room in the basement, who's ever going to see it that you need to worry about how it looks?!) System performance is spectacular. I monitor my electric usage via some gadget and this high efficiency system has cut the electric bill substantially while providing an environment that's frankly too cold when used with the settings from my old system.
I am so pleased with the work that this company has done, that I'm bringing them back next week to replace the upstairs central heating and air conditioning system.
